Handcrafted in kala cotton, the silhouette is very close to our heart! The weaves blend seamlessly through the patchwork and create a serene palette of pale yellow & rust. The dress is finished with side cut on one side lending a perfected finish to the outfit. Kala cotton sourced from Kukma, Gujarat is used in the main body, hand-stitched at our atelier in Mumbai by our karigars & hand-finished by our in-house women artisans. We exquisitely hand finish each garment with hand hemming & delicate details of hand embroidery on the neckline, sleeves & body.
Kala cotton is indigenous to Kutch and is 100% organic, sustainable & free of any pesticide or chemicals. The fabric has a distinct character which makes it look very beautiful & unique. Handwoven stripes & grids, minimal hues & a distinct character to the fabric are characters unique to the fabric.
Styling tip: A simple dress can be a show stopper, and this one truly is! Wear it with heels for a formal dinner date or work, dress down with sneakers or elevate the look by wearing it with tan sandals, a short denim jacket & tons of jewlry.
